Offensive Power Rankings
Teams ranked by offensive rating — points scored per 100 possessions — from the same verified statistics the model runs on. Offense only: these rankings carry no defensive measure.
Season
Bars compare offensive rating across the season field only — the scale runs 95.9 to 114.1 points per 100 possessions, not from zero.
Reading these numbers
Offensive rating
Points scored per 100 possessions, computed as points ÷ possessions × 100, where possessions = FGA − OREB + TOV + 0.44 × FTA. It measures scoring efficiency, not overall team strength.
Recent form
The difference between a team's last-7 offensive rating and its season rating. Positive means the team has scored more efficiently lately than it has all year. Compare it against the league figure in the note above — form moves league-wide, not just per team.
Pace
Estimated possessions per game. High pace raises both teams' point totals without implying either is more efficient, which is why the total and the rating are read together.
